Mastercolor is eager to work with you and we have developed different options for uploading your images. Please read the descriptions below to determine which is the best option for you. Feel free to call us discuss which option is the best for uploading your images. We are confident if you take a moment and download our ROES tutorial that the ROES software will quickly become your favorite option.
ROES
1. ROES (Remote Order Entry System) Our most popular option! This is a FREE program downloaded directly onto your computer. For most customers we suggest this as the best method to upload. It is simple to use, yet very powerful. Before you start you may want to download an easy instruction guide. Once you click on the icon to go to ROES, it will take a few moments to load the application, but please be patient. If your computer is dated it might give you directions to click on a “direct Link” to start the process. Using the ROES upload system, you can crop images, add borders, change color images to B&W, add vignettes, create Wedding Albums, create composite pictures, order package printing, create greeting cards or simply upload a few images that you would like to print. All major color adjustments and editing must be done before the file is uploaded. Our trained staff will color correct your images as best as possible during developing unless you ask us not to adjust your files. Your order is given an order number, and is transmitted through a secure site keeping credit card information safe. Calculate the number of days your order will take using our price list, which you can download here, and pick up your order or have it shipped to you. After you use ROES once, you will love it! 1-2-3 Easy Order
1-2-3 Easy Order was designed just for that reason, to make it easy on you. This option is only available for our Canvas Gallery Wraps, our Professional Prints, and for our Novelty Items. The minimum size print is 5”x7” when ordering through the 1-2-3 Easy Order option. The 1-2-3 Easy Order option is perfect for sending a few files that you want to upload without the time required to load the ROES software. If your image is not cropped to the correct ratio we will print for the center of the subject. If we notice cropping issues we will call you. If you want a very specific crop or are loading ten or more images we suggest using our ROES software.
Easy File Uploader
Easy File Uploader (EFU) is the option to send multiple files or if you want to send a size that is not offered in ROES or in the 1-2-3 options, (for example a 13”x17” cropped to size). The EFU is simply a gateway to upload files to our Ftp site. When uploading folders we suggest that you use Stuffitt or Winzip to lock your folders to reduce the risk of confusion in transit. EFU is great for ordering different packages for our package printing or for uploading directions for several files. One example of muiltiple file instructions would be: one folder for 2 each 5x7 and another folder for 3 each 4x6, and then use stuffit or winzip to secure them in one master folder.
**Do you own an iphone? If so you can upload your favorite images using our personalized iphone application available on the Apple app store. Search for “ Photos 4 U”. The “Photos 4 U” application currently only works with iphones.
Other options for ordering online can also be found on our main page under Sharing. We offer two “shareware” options on our site. The first is Imagequix. Imagequix is designed to create on online storefront for photographers and artists alike. The other option is Lifepics. Lifepics is designed for anyone who wants to share their images with friends and family and gives them the chance to order your images without putting the expense on you. Lifepics is compatible with Facebook, and ideal for creating coffee table books.
